I'm Tom Yao, co-founder of Solesca, a CAD replacement for solar design. I design the product and build it alongside our engineers, with AI carrying enough of the weight that one person can stretch across design, code, and company. That this works at all still surprises me.

So I write it down here. Each teardown follows one feature from blank file to shipped, with the finished artifact on the page for you to interact with. The first one rebuilds CAD's most famous widget for terrain, in three days.
